Privacy policy

1. Who we are

LetsManifest (the iPhone app and the website at www.letsmanifest.app) is made by an independent developer. In this policy, “we” and “us” mean the LetsManifest team, who are responsible for the personal information described here. You can reach us by email using the button in the Contact section below.

2. The LetsManifest app

What you put in, and where it stays

To work, the app keeps the things you enter or do in it:

• your first name, if you choose to give one for the greeting;
• the life area you pick when you start;
• your goals, their practice style, and when they were created, archived or came true;
• the days you practised, including 369 repetition counts;
• scripts, gratitude notes and the signs you log;
• affirmations you write, the ones you save as favourites, and the categories you choose;
• your settings, such as reminder times, Take a break periods and when you last exported a backup.

All of this is stored only in the app's private storage on your iPhone. The app has no account, no sign-in and no server, and it does not send what you write to us or to any third party. We cannot see it, and we cannot recover it for you.

What the app does not do

• It contains no analytics, advertising, crash-reporting or tracking software development kits.
• It does not track you across other companies' apps or websites, and does not use your device's advertising identifier.
• It does not ask for access to your location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone or health data.

Reminders and notifications

If you turn on a morning or evening reminder, the app asks for permission to send notifications. Reminders are scheduled locally on your iPhone by iOS; no push server is involved. Each reminder shows that day's affirmation, and may appear on your lock screen depending on your iOS notification settings. You can turn reminders off in the app, or withdraw permission at any time in your iPhone's Settings.

Backups you export

When you tap Export backup, the app creates a single file containing all of the app data listed above and opens the iOS share sheet. You decide where it goes, for example Files, iCloud Drive, AirDrop or an email to yourself. The file is plain, unencrypted text, so anyone who has it can read it; store it somewhere you trust. Where you save it, that service's own privacy terms apply. When you restore, the file you pick is read on your iPhone only.

Sharing from the app

If you share an affirmation, the iOS share sheet sends only the text you chose to the app or person you pick.

Your iPhone's own backups

If you use iCloud Backup or back up your iPhone to a computer, the app's data is normally included in those device backups. They are managed by Apple and by you, under your Apple Account settings, not by us.

Information from Apple

Downloads, and any payments, are handled by Apple through the App Store under Apple's privacy policy. If you have chosen to share analytics with app developers in your iPhone's settings, Apple may give us aggregated statistics and crash reports. These do not identify you to us, and you can turn this off in Settings, Privacy & Security, Analytics & Improvements.

3. This website

Hosting

The website is hosted by Vercel. To deliver pages and protect the site from abuse, Vercel processes standard request information such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request.

Analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand which pages are read. It records the page visited, the referring site, and general information such as country, device type, browser and operating system. It does not use cookies, and it does not build a profile of you or follow you across other websites. We see only aggregated numbers.

Cookies

The website does not set cookies for analytics or advertising, and it has no third-party advertising, social media embeds or tracking pixels. Fonts and images are served from our own domain.

Links to the App Store

Links to the App Store take you to Apple's website or app, where Apple's privacy policy applies.

4. When you contact us

If you email us, including through Send feedback in the app, we receive your email address, your name if your email includes it, and whatever you write. We use this only to reply, to fix problems and to improve LetsManifest. Our email provider stores these messages on our behalf. We keep them only as long as we need them to help you and keep a record of the conversation, then delete them.

5. Legal basis

If you are in the UK or the European Economic Area, we rely on our legitimate interests to run, secure and measure the website and to reply to messages you send us. We do not process the content of the app at all: it stays on your device, under your control.

6. Sharing and selling

We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. The only third parties involved are the service providers named above (Vercel and our email provider), who process information on our behalf, and Apple for the App Store.

7. International transfers

Our service providers may process information in countries other than yours, including the United States. Where the law requires it, these transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict how we use it. To make a request, email us using the button in the Contact section. For anything inside the app, you are already in control: you can edit or delete goals and your own affirmations in the app, and deleting the app removes everything it stored on your iPhone. Backup files you exported are separate and need to be deleted wherever you saved them.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, please tell us first. You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority, such as the Information Commissioner's Office in the UK or the authority in your EU country.

9. Children

LetsManifest is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Security

Because the app keeps your data on your iPhone, it benefits from the protections iOS gives every app, including your device passcode and encryption. Keep your phone locked and your exported backup files somewhere safe. The website is served only over HTTPS.

11. Changes to this policy

If the app or website starts handling information differently, for example by adding a new feature, we will update this page and change the effective date above before the change takes effect.
